You have knowledge enough to discriminate whether it will be helpful. In most cases i am not so straight writing about these things, but as time is short, the bad will of governments worldwide, and hardly awareness in the public about alternatives, I am forced to do so. Just like the Elderberry juice. Let the Indians and other Indigenous people keep their own plants, they have trouble enough to survive. Unless they migh get economic profit of it. But that I hardly doubt.
